Where to find an ATM in Helsinki

Looking for an ATM in Helsinki? Don't worry, you won't have to travel far to find one. Helsinki is a modern city with plenty of ATMs dotted around, and they're generally easy to locate. Here are some of the top places to find an ATM in Helsinki:

  1. Banks: The easiest and most reliable place to find an ATM is at a bank. Helsinki has plenty of banks, including Nordea, OP Bank, and Danske Bank, and they all have ATMs located outside their branches. These ATMs are generally available 24/7 and offer a range of services, including withdrawing cash, checking account balances, and transferring funds.

  2. Shopping centers: Another great place to find an ATM in Helsinki is at one of the city's many shopping centers. Malls such as Kamppi and Forum have several ATMs located inside, which can be handy if you need to withdraw cash while you're out shopping. Just look out for signs or ask at the information desk to find the nearest ATM.

  3. Train stations: If you're arriving in Helsinki by train, you'll be pleased to know that most train stations have ATMs located inside. This means you can quickly withdraw cash before heading out to explore the city. Helsinki Central Station and Pasila Station are two of the busiest train stations in the city, and both have ATMs available.

  4. Airports: Helsinki Airport is the main airport in Finland and serves millions of passengers every year. If you're arriving in Helsinki by plane, you'll find plenty of ATMs located inside the airport. These ATMs can be found in the arrival hall and departure hall, so you won't have to search for long to find one.

  5. Convenience stores: Finally, if you're out and about in Helsinki and need to withdraw cash quickly, head to a convenience store. Many stores such as R-Kioski have ATMs located outside, which can be used 24/7. Just be aware that these ATMs may charge a fee for withdrawals.

In conclusion, finding an ATM in Helsinki is easy. Whether you're at a bank, shopping center, train station, airport, or convenience store, you're never far from an ATM. Just remember to keep your PIN safe and check for any fees before making a withdrawal. Happy spending!
